　　I said. The mere thought of adding acidity to my stomach stirred more nausea. Farid snickered. “It’s not fancy like American medicine, I know, just an old remedy my mother taught me.””我说。光是想到要我吃下酸的东西，就够我反胃的了。法里德冷冷一笑，“它不像美国药丸那样灵妙，我知道，不过是我妈妈告诉我的古老药方罢了。”

　　I regretted blowing my chance to warm up to him. “In that case, maybe you should give me some.”我后悔白白放过这个和他套近乎的机会，“要是那样的话，也许你可以给我一些。”
