背景：英国政府最近针对肥胖问题出台了一系列强制政策，如菜单上需标明热量，不健康食品不能促销，晚上9点之前不能播垃圾食品的广告等。然而这些政策并未只指问题的核心，只是体现了广泛存在的错误观念，即通过限制卡路里和脂肪能减肥。事实证明，节食减肥的反弹率高达97%，每100个进行节食的人，只有3人能长期维持减肥效果。而抗击肥胖的**入口应该是重新思考我们与吃的关系，从庞大的食品工业开始。食品制造商通过增味添加剂让我们对加工食品上瘾，同时利用低脂零糖之类的营销口号蒙骗我们（低脂不代表健康，零糖也不代表没热量）。如果不能改变当代越来越失衡的饮食结构，仅仅一味地关注热量，抗击肥胖的举措是不会成功的。
