　　Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said on Tuesday that some US politicians'connection of the novel coronavirus with China is stigmatization,which China strongly condemns and firmly opposes.He made the remark when asked to respond at a news conference to US President Donald Trump's earlier remark on social media that referred to the novel coronavirus as a"Chinese virus"."We urge the US side to immediately correct its mistake and stop making groundless accusations against China,"Geng said,adding that the World Health Organization and the international community had explicitly opposed connecting the virus with a certain country or region.Given that the epidemic is spreading across the world,Geng said the top priority now is cooperation in combating the virus.The US should mind its own business first and meanwhile play a constructive role in international epidemic cooperation and in safeguarding global public health,he added.

　　外交部发言人耿爽表示，近来美国一些政客把新冠病毒同中国相联系，这是对中国搞污名化，我们对此强烈愤慨、坚决反对。耿爽是在一场新闻发布会上被问及美国总统特朗普早先在社交媒体上将新冠病毒称之为"中国病毒"一事时，做出上述回应的。耿爽表示，世界卫生组织和国际社会明确反对将病毒和特定的国家和地区相联系。我们敦促美方立即纠正错误，立即停止对中国的无端指责。耿爽还指出，当前新冠肺炎疫情在全球多点暴发、扩散蔓延，当务之急是国际社会积极开展抗疫合作。美国应当首先做好自己的事情，同时为抗疫国际合作、维护全球公共卫生安全发挥建设性的作用。
