　　For people about to pop the question, Pepsi hasintroduced an unusual new engagement ring.

　　对于即将提出这个问题的人们，百事可乐推出了一种不同寻常的新订婚戒指。

　　The beverage company has debuted the PepsiEngagement Ring, made with one big difference: thediamond is infused with Crystal Pepsi. Timed toValentine's Day, Pepsi has launched a social mediacontest asking fans to tweet their proposal ideas for a chance to win the ring, which features a 1.53-carat, lab-grown alternative diamond attached to a platinum band.

　　这家饮料公司首次推出了百事订婚戒指，该戒指与众不同之处在于：钻石中注入了水晶百事可乐。恰逢情人节，百事发起了一场社交媒体竞赛，要求粉丝们发布推特提案，以有机会赢得这枚戒指，该戒指是一颗1.53克拉的实验室制作的替代钻石，还有一个铂金戒圈。

　　Now through March 6, the brand is asking fans on Twitter to tweet their most creative, boldor bizarre proposal ideas with the brand's social handle and the hashtags #PepsiProposaland #Contest. The brand will announce the winner the week of March 16 to coincide withNational Proposal Day on March 20.

　　从现在起至3月6日，百事要求Twitter上的粉丝使用该品牌的社交功能以及#PepsiProposal和#Contest主题标签，发布自己最有创意、最大胆或最奇怪的提案想法。百事将在3月16日这一周宣布获奖者，这一周也恰逢3月20日全国求婚日。

　　Pepsi worked with creative agency VaynerMedia to create the ring as well as an accompanyingvideo that riffs on traditional engagement ring commercials.

　　百事与创意机构VaynerMedia合作制作了戒指，并模仿传统的订婚戒指广告制作了一段视频。

　　According to the brand, the ring was made by boiling down Pepsi's clear beverage to its mostbasic carbon form, resulting in a powder. The powder was then added to the process forcreating a lab-grown diamond, which requires using a small piece of natural diamond that isplaced in carbon under high pressure and temperature.

　　根据百事的说法，指环是通过将百事的透明饮料煮沸至最基本的碳形态，并制成粉末状，然后将粉末添加到创建实验室制作钻石的过程中。这其中需要使用一小块天然钻石，将其置于高压和高温下置于碳中。

　　Crystal Pepsi debuted in 1992, but was discontinued in the United States and Canada in 1994. Since then, the brand has rereleased the product for limited runs, most recently in 2017.
